Hesai ATX: Auto-Grade High-Performance Hybrid Solid-State Lidar

 

Hesai's ATX is a next-generation 116-channel hybrid solid-state lidar engineered to provide high-resolution 3D perception for mass-produced autonomous vehicles and advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS). Unlike traditional mechanical sensors, the ATX utilizes a 1-D rotating mirror architecture, offering a sleek, compact form factor that is only 30 mm in height for seamless vehicle integration. It delivers a wide 120° horizontal field of view and a specialized Region of Interest (ROI) with a vertical resolution of 0.1°, providing enhanced detail for long-range object detection up to 200 meters.

 

Designed for the rigors of the automotive environment, the ATX features IP6K7 and IP6K9K ingress protection, an operating temperature range of –40°C to 85°C, and sophisticated gPTP (802.1AS) synchronization. The sensor outputs a dense point cloud of up to 1.74 million points per second, enriched with Intelligent Point Cloud Engine (IPE) flags to assist in filtering noise, blooming, and interstitial points. With its low power consumption of 10 W and robust automotive Ethernet connectivity, the ATX is the ideal flagship solution for safety-critical applications requiring ultra-high reliability and precision.
