Hesai's JT16 is a lightweight, compact 16-channel mechanical lidar sensor designed for near-field 3D perception in applications such as mobile robotics, AGVs, AMRs, smart infrastructure, and industrial automation. JT16 offers a 360° horizontal field of view with up to 690,000 points per second in dual-return mode, enabling dense environmental awareness. With a range of up to 60 meters (10% reflectivity), ±3 cm accuracy, and configurable horizontal resolution (0.2°–0.5°), JT16 delivers reliable, real-time data. Its minimal size, low power consumption, and IP67-rated design make it ideal for integration into space-constrained or outdoor systems requiring consistent short-range sensing and obstacle detection.
